Getting Closer

The departure date for our little adventure is getting closer and closer. A year and a half ago when the idea to travel through South America sprouted, it seemed like we had forever to prepare. Now that there is only a month left till blastoff a tinge of panic is setting in.

John, our friend who will be riding with us, left for Mexico to his winter home a couple of weeks ago, so before he left we crated his bike. The process was very smooth and things worked out better than expected. The next two bikes will be easier. The motorcycle crates that we got from our motorcycle dealer made the job very neat and easy.
