The Start of It All

We caught the bug.... to travel. But not just ordinary travelling like we have been doing for years. We would do it on dual purpose motorcycles on roads less travelled and in South America! This all started with the viewing of "Long Way Round" on the Learning Channel which prompted us to attend a motorcycle rally in British Columbia sponsored by Horizons Unlimited in 2006. As you can see, we rode our touring bikes to the rally. It felt pretty strange having those bikes among all the dual purpose and dirt bikes at the rally. That rally was the start of something I expect will be turn out to be big!
