It was a hot ride, in the low 30’s but the snowcapped Andes were almost always in view. It was like a security blanket knowing that if things got too heated we could just turn west for some relief.
This is wine country, and the fields of grapevines were endless.
Oh yes… Mendoza has a Walmart Supercenter (rolling eyes back in head) and the obligatory McDonald’s!
Maybe Bolivia wasn't so bad after all. Those things didn't exist. And if you ordered Pollo (chicken) for lunch you could count on it being fresh. There was no refrigeration so the chicken was butchered that morning (hopefully)!
